Blackwood Ben Hur Award

Blackwood Ben Hur was a California-bred Morab stallion that was capable of riding English, Western, Trail, or any other discipline he was asked to demonstrate. He was shown at the Cow Palace and loved Class A Showing.  Owned by Blackwood Morab Farm in Walnut Creek, California and bred by Andrea Rowland, this honor is in memorial to his diversity in the Morab world.

The Blackwood Ben Hur award signifies a culmination of points across three or more disciplines (i.e. show ring, dressage, and competive riding).  There is no better way to demonstate what the Morab horse is made of than to ride several discplines and look at your Morab as “the best of the breed.”

The rider/driver Morab combination should have four or more show records representing different disciplines of Morab competition.  Winner will have highest number of points across the board from each discipline.  Ride for the best.  Ride for Blackwood Ben Hur.

No Nomination Fee
